North Buncombe High School’s Pre-K classroom celebrated Halloween with a fun and heartwarming twist as the young students dressed in their favorite costumes and strolled through the school, stopping at classrooms for treats. High school students and teachers joined in, handing out candy to excited little ones, creating an atmosphere full of joy and laughter.
This Halloween tradition, held annually at the high school, took on special significance this year. After the community was separated by the impact of Hurricane Helene, the event offered a much-needed opportunity for connection.
“It was wonderful to see everyone together again,” shared one of the Pre-K teachers.
The event not only brought smiles to the young students but also reinforced the bond within the school community. In the wake of recent challenges, these small moments of joy and togetherness mean more than ever!
