Congratulations to the newly minted Buncombe County Schools summer graduates.

Twenty-five seniors from eight schools received their diplomas during Monday’s Summer Academy Commencement at Enka High School. Family and friends joined district and school staff to celebrate the graduates on their hard-earned accomplishments.

“You overcame every obstacle to get to this stage today,” said BCS Superintendent Dr. Rob Jackson. “You and your families should feel proud as you move forward with your futures. You took a road less traveled, and that has made all the difference.”
