Mrs. Lloyd and Mrs. Smith’s classes teamed up on a very special project.
Collectively, their students created handmade ornaments and cards and decorated over fifty tiny holiday trees.
These beautiful trees were then donated and distributed to the residents of the Buncombe County Veterans Affairs Community Living Center/Nursing Home.
Thanks to Dale Young who donated and the trees and Dr. Teresa Cowan who distributed them at the Veteran's Hospital.
We are so proud of our students for this act of kindness that gives back to the community and spreads holiday cheer!
