Mark you calendars for the start of the 2025-2026 school year! Our first days for students will be Thursday, August 14 and Friday, August 15. These are required students days, so please plan to be here on campus for both days. We look forward to seeing you in mid-August!

Our last month of school is upon us! Exams are right around the corner and start May 23rd. A final exam schedule will go out later this month, please be on the look out for that. 📝
We wanted to take this time on National Principals' Day to thank our own Mrs. Anna Austin. Both teachers and students know that her door is rarely closed and all are welcomed to talk with her about problems big and small! A massive shout out to everyone that contributed to our 2nd Annual BCCI Showcase last Thursday! The showcase was a great success thanks to the BCCI staff, community partners, and - most importantly - the students. A special shout to all the middle schools that attended... We're excited for our new class of 9th graders to join us next fall!

We’d like to thank the Buncombe County schools Foundation and our supporters for this wonderful staff luncheon! It was great our staff had a duty free lunch to catch up with coworkers and enjoy this delicious meal! Thank you BCSF!

- 70-200 students from around the county

BCCI students had a great time learning about all of the wonderful career pathways available at our Woodfin A-B Tech Emergency Services training center. Instructors showed our students around their impressive facilities and educated them on the various opportunities available to BCCI students!
State Superintendent Mo Green is bringing his 'Mo Wants To Know' listening and learning tour to WNC on Monday, March 17 at 6PM. Anyone passionate about public education is welcome to attend at Tuscola High School. Visit go.ncdpi.gov/WesternMWTK for details and registration.
