Transportation Return to School Information

It is the intent of Buncombe County Schools to provide safe and effective transportation services for all students riding a school bus. Information is being provided to parents and students for the 2020/2021 school year in order to ensure the safety of all employees and students riding the bus.  Buncombe County Schools is asking all parents/guardians to screen their child(ren) prior to reporting to their designated bus stop each morning.

A Screening and Attestation Form (listed below) is being provided on the front page of the NBHS website for your use each morning. Please refer to this form each day. If you can answer YES to any of the 3 statements on this form, your child should not report to the bus stop. Temperature checks and other COVID-19 health screening will occur at the school, not the bus stop.

If you or your child responded to the request for bus transportation previously, your should expect a phone call from a bus driver this week to confirm this information with you as well.
If you have any questions or concerns, you may contact NBHS for further information.
